Introduction of the TEAM
Puck:
Hello, my name is Puck, I am a 14 year old Dutch girl. I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands close to the school I go to Sint Nicolaas Lyceum. At this school I attend the bilingual education program, which means most of my classes are taught in English, so in less than 3 years I have learned how to speak, read, write and understand the English language. At home I live with both of my parents and my little brother, with all of them I speak Dutch, so Dutch is my first language and English my second. Besides school I also have hobbies :) I really enjoy horse riding, Vaulting (Gymnastics on a horse), Gymnastics and in general a lot of sports. I love being around animals and singing too. I’m excited for this project and getting to know you and your thoughts about it as well. |
Tara:
Hi, I’m Tara. It’s nice to be able to work together with you guys on this project and I’m looking forward to it. Bi-racial me has a Korean mom and a Dutch dad. My birthplace is Singapore, and I lived in Vietnam for 12 years before I moved here in December of 2016. My younger brother is 12 years old and we both attend the Sint. Nicolaas. English places as my first language, Dutch as my second, and Korean as my third, as I grew up with all three. My hobbies include Japanese sword fighting, swimming, volleyball(overall just sports), reading, drawing, playing games, and I’m someone that enjoys being around animals. I hope to hear more from you guys in the future. Cheers. Oh, and I’m a girl. |
Madelief:
Hey, my name is Madelief. I just turned 15. I was born in Holland and I still live here. Also I speak Dutch. My name is a typical Dutch name. I enjoy hanging out with friends, sleeping, eating and watching tv. At home I live with my parents and two little sisters. I have two dogs and one cat. I really like being around animals. Our school is in Amsterdam and the building made up of a lot of glass and it’s really modern. It’s a big building, because we have a lot of students. When it’s summer we can go outside, because our school is next to a park. I’m looking forward to hearing more from you guys. |
